A top US drag queen from hit Netflix show RuPaul’s Drag Race has been mugged in Dublin.

Miz Cracker competed in season 10 of the reality programme which features Ireland’s Got Talent judge Michelle Visage.

He jetted into the capital this week to perform in the ’10’s Across the Board’ drag show last night in Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre.

The 34-year-old artist, whose real name is Maxwell Heller, took to social media after getting mugged earlier today in the city centre.

Tweeting about the attack Miz Cracker wrote: “Katelyn and I just got mugged in Dublin.

“Bring us lots of snacks and love at these next few meet and greets.

He revealed his surprise at the incident, which saw a thief grab his handbag in a shock attack.

The star wrote: “He ran by and snatched it so fast we were left in shock. Thank you everyone!

“We are okay! Just lost money + cards + ID so we are basically moneyless right now until we get things sorted.

Hundreds of fans in Ireland responded to the tweet with good wishes and offers of help – with one follower even saying she’d get her gran involved.

She wrote: “Pop into my gran’s she’ll give you tea and biscuits, she even has a photo of the Pope in her kitchen x”.
