Glee star Lea Michele will be rocking into town this week to perform in Dublin’s Vicar Street.
The singer who rose to fame as Rachel Berry in the hit noughties TV series will sing alongside fellow Glee alum Darren Criss this Thursday 29 November.
The pair kick off their UK tour in the Dublin 8 venue – and naturally they’re looking to grab some grub after the gig.
The brunette songstress took to Twitter yesterday for advice on where to eat in Dublin.
She wrote: “Guys! I need some good food recommendations and places to explore in Dublin and UK for our tour!!! Please send some ideas! Thank you!”
Needless to say, the replies came flooding in. And one place came out way ahead of the pack.
L’Ecrivan on Baggot Street perhaps?
Patrick Guilbaud’s two-Michelin star restaurant on Merrion Square perchance?
Er, not exactly.
The vast majority of Dubs have been advising the Hollywood star to head for – wait for it – Nandos.
Twitter users hailed the Portugese chicken fast food joint as a must do pitstop for Lea and Darren.
One fan wrote: “I mean you gotta try a cheeky Nando’s”, while another gushed,”Nando’s x”.
Meanwhile another chicken addict added simply:”Nandos”.
It was by far the most popular recommendation – but you’ll be glad to know that many other well known dining gems got the nod as well.
Posh Dublin 1 eatery Chapter One was as was mentioned along with popular Temple bar haunt Elephant & Castle and Capel Street coffee shop Brother Hubbard.
Of course fans couldn’t resist steering Lea towards a few well-known pubs as well with the Guinness storehouse coming highly recommended along with The Temple Bar.
Predictably, Harcourt Street haunt Copper Face Jacks got a mention too.
One follower wrote: “Copper Face Jacks – there’s no place in the world like it.”
We think that’s a fair description.
