Conor McGregor has left a Miami police station after being released on $12,500 bail.
The Crumlin man was arrested on Monday and charged with strong-armed robbery and misdemeanor criminal mischief after allegedly smashing a fan’s phone.
The 30-year-old former UFC champion is understood to have been in Florida to celebrate his mum Margaret’s 60th birthday.
Cops from Miami-Dade County’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center also released a mugshot of the 30-year-old.
They said: “MBPD has arrested and charged Conor McGregor, DOB: 7/14/88, with Strong Arm Robbery and Criminal Mischief, both felonies.”
The report stated that McGregor and a fan were walking from a resort before the fan tried to take a photo.
The star allegedly “slapped” it out of his hand before stomping on it.
He then picked it up and walked away with it.
The report read: “The victim and the defendant were exiting the Fontainebleau Hotel and the victim attempted to take a picture of the defendant with his cellphone.
“The defendant snapped the victim’s phone out of his hand, causing it to fall onto the floor.
“The defendant then stomped on the victim’s phone several times, damaging it.
“The defendant then picked up the victim’s phone and walked away with it, depriving him of it.
“Victim state the phone was valued at $1,000. The defendant was located and arrested.”
The incident was allegedly captured on CCTV with detectives later going to McGregor’s luxurious home in North Venetian Drive and arresting him.
