See inside Amy Huberman and Brian O’Driscoll’s gorgeous South Dublin home. Ireland’s royal couple have shared a few sneak peaks at their stylish home and we absolutely love it.
The Irish actress and Ireland rugby star share their lovely home with five-year-old Sadie and Billy, aged 3.
Beautiful snaps show their spacious back garden, eye-catching fire place and wonderfully designed kitchen.
However, BOD and Amy’s are moving and they are in the middle €1.8m revamp of dream home. It is not all good news though as they have been hit by a few major setbacks along the way.
The couple’s new next-door neighbour on Palmerston Road, Rathmines, lodged an appeal with An Bord Pleanala against Dublin City Council’s decision to allow them to redevelop the property.
At the very least delays, plans will be delayed by four months.
In the objection, they neighbours claimed that the impact and overbearing nature of the proposed development “will be hugely detrimental to the amenity” to their home.
O’Driscoll and Huberman bought the Victorian property for €1.8m last year – less than half of the €4.3m the previous owners paid for the protected structure in 2006.
Last we heard, they had yet to move into the home. Their application includes a new three-storey rear extension to replace an existing two-storey extension.
Rathmines is also home to RTE star Miriam O’Callaghan and Danny O’Reilly of The Coronas.
