Keith Duffy has revealed how Boyzone still get Bridget Jones-style knickers thrown to them on stage by boozed-up women.

The lads are in the middle of their 25-year reunion tour and the Dubliner admitted the female attention can get out of control.

The 44-year-old told the Irish Mirror: “We still get loads of things thrown up on stage, we get bras and Bridget Jones knickers and all sorts of things.”

The dad of two said he loves performing but has a short fuse when it comes to rude fans.

He added: “People change when they have too many drinks on board, they try to be funny but they can come across rude.

“Once people are polite and nice back I’m happy, I’ve no time for nasty people as I get older. I don’t like to suffer fools anymore, I treat people the way I like to be treated myself.”

“They like to enjoy themselves, they like to get a few drinks on board.

“When you have gangs of girls together who are drinking they think they’re funnier than they actually are and they can be quite suggestive and rude or vulgar.

“I’m in the business 26 years so I can handle it, it’s water off a duck’s back.”

With a new Boyzlife album in the works and a massive tour there’s no stopping the pair.

“Boyzlife has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.”

The singer admitted the pair have their ups and downs.

He added: “Like any brothers or best friends we get on fine, there are times of course when you are grumpy and we fall out and argue but ultimately we have each other’s back.”
