Dublin Bus has been forced to suspend part of a popular cross-city route due to anti-social behaviour.
Route 27, which runs from Jobstown to Clare Hall, will not serve Bunratty Road until at least 5pm due to the behaviour of thoughtless thugs.
A Dublin Bus spokesperson said: “We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behavior buses will not serve Bunratty Rd. from 1600-1700hrs Oct.24th.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
The route is one of the worst-affected by anti-social behaviour as shocking figures revealed last month revealed.
There were 22 suspensions on the 27 in 2019 and there were already 21 curtailments up to August this year.
The figures were released to Sinn Fein TD Mark Ward who slammed the thugs who are causing havoc in their own community.
He said: I am asking anybody involved in this anti-social behaviour to cop on and cease their attacks on our communities.
“At the end of the day the people who are affected by their actions are their own family, friends and neighbours.”
